Carol,

My brother had the same problem because he doesn't have health insurance. I asked him to contact Pfizer and see what they could do. He called them up at 1-866-706-2400 and they gave him a discount card that he could use for the prescription. You can also check out their website http://www.pfizerhelpfulanswers.com/pages/misc/Default.aspx. You will need a prescription from the doctor though which I guess you could do with a visit. I know there was some nurse practitioners in some store chains like walmart which can write prescriptions. If you consider the costs of continued smoking and how much it will cost for one appointment to get started, it's WELL worth it. Good luck to you Carol!
