I hit up Meridian 54 over where Red Fish used to be on Boston St. for an early dinner with the Fiance. It was a pretty good deal and decent food. Their menu had a fairly large selection which can mean one of two things: either they have no specialties and go with very “canned” meals or they have a chef who knows their stuff and can do a wide variety. Fortunately for us it was the latter. I had their crab cake sandwich and fries and my fianc e had a pasta and salad that she couldn’t remember. She wasn’t a fan of her meal, she felt it was pretty plain and that there was little effort in the salad. I enjoyed my crab cake, the mustard that they had with it and the bun made it very good. It’s a nice little spot that is close to walk to for dinner. Nothing special.
