Casino in Baltimore

So now that it looks like Baltimore’s going to get a casino. Are you prepared? Excited? Nervous? Getting the hell out? The traffic congestion from the construction behind the stadium is going to definitely make things interesting!

I love the idea of table games being close by. Every now and then I drive up to Delaware for some poker and roulette so it would be nicer if I didn’t have to drive over an hour just to have some fun. On the other hand, I acknowledge the concerns some have about possible heavy traffic and financial ruin coming to a city that is already hemorrhaging residents.

By the way cool site. Like the golf postings. I am a newbie trying to get the hang of the game. Any suggestions for a good course for a beginner in the area?

    Joe,

I’ve definitely enjoyed playing at Carroll Park. The course is not too difficult and its a quick play. The rangers can be intimidating if you are a slow player. This only usually gets to be an issue if you have 4 duffers. It’s one of the better local Baltimore courses though and the prices are great. You’ll have badgering rangers anywhere you go though :)
